It is shown that dimension of minimal cover possess all the properties of histograms comparisons method [2]. It has been suggested further development of fractal dimension definition method considerably improving accuracy of local analysis of noiselike time series. As an example of the method application some manifestations of macroscopic fluctuations phenomenon [34] was studied, in particular, presence near 24hours periods in time series of alphadecay rate fluctuations. Also the work considers some possible applications of the developed method: local analysis of biological and medical time series, patterns shape recognition, econophysics. References. 1. M.M.
