The article analyzes the performance versus targets of the federal budget for 2021 and the factors of its surplus. Special attention is drawn to the state supporting measures for small and medium-sized enterprises in the process of economic recovery due to the pandemic. Measures for social support of the population, especially families with children, were also considered.
